I’ve always believed that if you had parmesan on a dish, it became Italian. Today, however, my mum said they she’d heard from an Italian cook that this was not the case.

Oh dear. I seem frightfully late with this post. Fact is: I was in Italy for the past 10 days on easter holiday, my grandparent’s gold wedding, my grandmother turning 70, my father half-hundred! Simply a lot of things, all together making it a reason to rent a casa in the heart of Umbria, Italy.
Nevertheless, I hope you all had a fantastic easter, if not for the sake of religion, then for the sake of having a week off. Mine was great, for the first time in my life, I got a easter egg made entirely out of chocolate. I saw it in the Supermarcado, and I got an almost scary feeling of being Harry Potter (who, as we all know, gets amazing eggs from Mrs Weasley, filled with chocolate, made of chocolate). I must admit that my egg wasn’t filled, but the chocolate was great nevertheless. Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get a shot of the egg before I ate it, I think… Actually it all seems a bit blurred now, I must have been high on happiness and need of chocolate, I think.
I’d love to post pictures, we took so many fantastic ones, but my amazing dad managed to leave the mac with all the pics at work (love you, dad, but you should consider the fact that I might have the need for blogging!). This actually gives me a reason for blogging tomorrow as well, with something interesting. I’ll be back then. Ciao
